Não é surpresa que a Louis Vuitton, divisão do conglomerado LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy), foi eleita a marca de luxo mais valiosa do mundo pela Forbes. A grife francesa, que é sinônimo de sofisticação e estilo, ocupa a décima-quarta posição entre as 100 marcas mais valiosas do planeta.

Sendo a única marca de moda entre as no top 20, a Louis Vuitton tem um valor aproximado de mais de 28 bilhoes de dólares. Com margens de lucro que se aproximam de 40%, a grife tem, também, a honra de ser uma das marcas mais rentáveis. O novo diretor criativo da marca, Nicolas Ghèsquiere, tem papel importante para esse excelente desempenho. O impulso criativo que Nicolas injetou nos lançamentos da marca em 2014 obteve uma resposta fabulosa junto aos clientes.

Mais duas grifes de moda estão entre as cinquenta marcas top: a rede sueca H & M, que ocupa a trigésima-terceira posição e a Gucci, que obteve o quadragésimo-segundo lugar.  Outras marcas desejadas pelos fashionistas do mundo inteiro ainda foram citadas entre as mais valiosas do mundo como, são elas: Hermès, Cartier, Zara, Rolex, Prada, Chanel e Ralph Lauren.

It doesn’t come as a surprise that Louis Vuitton, a division of LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy, has been listed as the most valuable luxury brand in the world by Forbes. The French luxury brand, that provides unmatched status and style, has bagged the 14th position on the list of the world’s 100 most valuable brands. With profit margins approaching 40%, Louis Vuitton has also bagged the honor of being one of the most profitable brands. Other fashion brands listed on the valuable list includes Swedish retailer H&M at no. 33, Gucci at 42nd position with Hermes at 51, Cartier at 55, Zara at 58, Coach at 63, Rolex at 65,Prada at 74, Chanel at 85, Ralph Lauren at 89 and Target at 92.

The list of world’s most valuable brands 2015 was topped by Apple worth $145.3 billion. Microsoft bagged the second slot at $69.3 billion and Google is crowned as the third most valuable brand at $65.6 billion. The Forbes list features brands based out of 15 countries worldwide, and spans 20 industry categories. They determine the most valuable brands by starting with a universe of more than 200 global brands and require brands to have at least some presence in the U.S. Forbes valued these brands on three years of earnings and allocated a percentage of those earnings based on the role brands play in each industry.
