Three decades of flavor

According to Leonardo Filomeno’s aging ages of whiskey, “while whiskey is ripening in oak barrels, it has its liquid evaporated – the so-called Part of the Angels. Evaporation will make a difference in concentration and final product quality. To get an idea of the part that gets lost in the evaporation, in 30 years, half of the barrel has already evaporated. “

And it’s just some of the potent flavor over three decades that the Scottish Distillery Glengoyne presents to whiskey lovers through the special limited edition of the new Glengoyne 30 Year Old.

The beverage went through thirty years aging in selected sherry barrels and stored in a special place. According to the distillery, the project will bottle only six thousand units of the celebratory whiskey and each bottle will be made available in a beautiful oak box.

According to Robbie Hughes, manager of Glengoyne Distillery, whiskey “tends to be fresher and more fruitful, combining and balancing the richness and weight of sherry barrels with pleasant notes and complexity.” Hughes also points out that the drink has “incredible colors and an exceptional flavor profile.” The launch comes to market at the cost of 600 euros a bottle.
