The fashion in debate

On February 7th, the second edition of Focus Fashion Day will take place, from 08h to 14h, on the 3rd floor of Bourbon Shopping at Teatro Bradesco, in São Paulo. The event will show trend surveys and collections launches, as well as lectures and guests such as Evilásio Miranda, representative of the company Nelly Rodi, which presents a preview of the Winter 2019/20 that will be shown at the Première Vision in Europe.

Walter Rodrigues, curator of the Design Vision project sponsored by Pernambucan stores, will present pieces of new university talent, which have gone through several workshops and training meetings with the same. All exposed looks, built exclusively with reuse of waste and flaps will be in voting. At the end of the program, the three looks of the most voted designers will be awarded. There will also be a talk about retail and innovation when some companies, such as Rakuten, will discuss new ways of selling and positioning.

“Continuity is very important because we can further expand the possibilities of inspiring new designers to build a personal narrative. In the second edition of the Design Vision project, the team of participants is composed of very talented young people. The challenge proposed to them in this edition was to understand the strength of the word “resistance”, seeking inspiration in the 110 years of Japanese immigration in Brazil. The result is exciting. “Says stylist Walter Rodrigues.
