Luxury, fashion and gastronomy

In the high-end segment there are brands that can be considered synonyms of luxury. Without a doubt, Gucci is one of them. Created in 1921 by Gucci Gucci, the label over time has consolidated as one of the most important organizations in the world in distinct segments that encompass from fashion to perfumery.

Last Tuesday, January 9, the Italian brand again innovated again and inaugurated in Florence the Gucci Osteria, an exclusive restaurant with capacity for only 50 seats commanded by the renowned chef Massimo Bottura, awarded by the traditional Michelin Guide.

The newest Italian address combining fashion, gastronomy and luxury is strategically located: behind the historic walls of the Palazzo della Mercanzia building, built in the 14th century. Among the exclusive recipes of the chef, visitors can taste Peruvian tostadas, mushroom risotto and the famous Tortellini Parmigiano Reggiano.

The inauguration of the new space makes the traditional Italian brand unite with icons of the fashion and luxury universe that divide the attention between the fashion universe and the gastronomy like Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Versace and Tiffany & Co.

Although the restaurant is by itself a great attraction, the environment is part of the Gucci Garden space, which has a shop, exhibition area and even a cinema. According to chef Massimo Bottura “haute couture and high cuisine are a recipe made in heaven”.
